How do I export using copy & paste?

EasyBib provides several methods of getting the citations you've created into the paper or project you're working on. Here, we'll review how to export your bibliography using the copy & paste feature.
  1. Log in to EasyBib.com.
  2. After logging in, you will be brought directly to the project page
    1. If you are not, or wish to return to the project page, click My Projects from the upper right menu
  3. Click on the Bibliography link beneath the project you wish to export
  4. Once you have loaded the project's webpage, click the Export tab beneath the citation tool but above the list of citations in the project
  5. Select Copy & Paste from the drop-down menu
Note: Use the "Copy & Paste" feature from the export drop-down to copy & paste the whole bibliography. To copy an individual citation, use the options menu to the right of a citation (it looks like three dots)
  6. If you chose to Export your whole bibliography, you should see a page with your citations listed in plaintext. From here, you can use any preferred method of selection, copying, and pasting. If you chose to copy an individual citation, just paste it into your destination document
Be sure to correct any indentation and formatting issues by referencing the original web document; the copy & paste function frequently removes indentation, formatting, and text alignment information.

Note: For Windows machines, using Ctrl+a will select the entire page, Ctrl+c will copy the information, and when you place the cursor where you would like the text to be pasted (for example, a Word document) using Ctrl+v will paste the text. The right click context menu can also be used in a similar way.  Mac machines will substitute the command  button (⌘) for the Ctrl key.
